13 Yoghurt Raisin Bread

I have a super duper seriously wonderful news...for myself..heheh..yabedabedooooooooooooooo!! However, today, I am rushing for time, so couldn;t tell my story yet la. Am going for my routine checkup @ another hospital. There's scan in the morning & I got to wait 2 hours later for the doc's review..haiz..macam2 kan orang pompuan ni. Anywas, I have saiko-ed dude to take the day off & sent me to the hospital. And I plan to get him to drive me somewhere to get some stuff and thereafter qucikly zoom back to the hospital, hopefully in tie for the doc's review. It's such a waste to park so many hours @ the hospital and wait and wait & wait, so let's see if I managed to detour in between, aite?


Meantime, let me tell you about this bread. Made last Sunday while waiting for the pau to rise. See..I really made full use of my time since I was already up & about at 5am kan..tak hagak2..buat pau, bread and another kuih, all on the same day :). Someone far away, who has lots of kamben at ther perkarangan rumah asked if I dah madi ke belom, being up at 5.00a, kan..Tak taw saper..hahaha...the answer of course la.............. belom!! haha..,,if you see my hair like that diva, maknanya ku lagi save water & mandi tengahari aja..hot weather, no need water heater..save duit..ngeh18x..tapi ni weekend jer..weekdays tak la cam tu..kalo ujan adalah kira mandi koboi jer,,harus mandi kul 5,00 babe, coz need to siap & go to work arr..weekend different story la..

Yoghurt Raisin Bread

Bahan-bahannya (Ingredients : Estimation 16-17 buns)

300gm tepung gandum protein tinggi (tepung roti) (300g bread flour)
100gm tepung gandum protein sederhana (tepung gandum biasa) (100g multi purpose flour)
20gm susu tepung (20g milk powder)
75gm gula pasir (75 castor sugar)
8gm yis segera (8g instant yeast)
1 biji telur, pukul ringan ( 1 egg, lightly beaten)
50gm yogurt (50g yoghurt)
150ml air sejuk (150ml cold water)
75gm marjerin (75g marjerine, I used butter)
1 sudu teh garam ( 1 tspn salt)
50gm kismis, potong dua, celur dan toskan (50g raisin, soaked in hot water for a minute & drained & dried on kitchen towel)

bahan sapuan: (Glaze)
2 sudu makan susu sejat (sy guna susu pekat) - I changed to egg wash with sprinkles of brown damarera sugar


Cara membuatnya: (Method)


Campurkan tepung roti, tepung gandum, susu tepung, gula pasir dan yis segera. Kacau rata.
Masukkan telur, yogurt dan air sejuk sedikit demi sedikit sambil diuli sehingga menjadi doh yang tidak melekat di tangan. Masukkan majerin dan garam. Uli lagi sehingga elastik. Biarkan doh rehat selama 30 minit.
Kempiskan adunan. Masukkan kismis. Uli sehingga merata ( I used bread maker. Mix all ingredients except raisins & glaze in the B. Select dough function & let it do its job for abt 1.5 hours)

Susun adunan, setiap adunan seberat 50gm. Bentukkan bulat-bulat dan biarkan selama 10 minit. (Thereafter, remove dough when ready, punch out trapped air & divide into round balls of about 50g each. Rest the dough for 10 minutes.)

Canai adunan memanjang dan gulung-mcm nak buat kuih gulung tu. Kemaskan bahagian akhir gulungan tu supaya ia tak terkeluar bila mengembang. ( Shaped dough into buns or elongated shape - yr choice)

Letakkan didalam cawan kertas yang memanjang. Biarkan selama 70 minit sehingga kembang. (Proof bread in a cup, muffin case or in a pan for abt 70 minutes or double in size)

Sapukan susu sejat. (Glaze with egg wash & sprinkle with damarera sugar (optional) or condensed milk)

Bakar selama 12 minit dengan suhu ketuhar 190C sehingga masak.(Bake bread for abt 12 mins in a preheated 190C oven)

    Emmmm...busy weekend ya...mcm2 ada....pau...roti...Wah!...kuih lagi...mana satu nak dimakan ek....Akak pun cam tu jugak...bila dah start kat dapo...sumenya nak dibuat...pas tu sape yang ada kat rumah kena paksa makan...he he he..:)

    panjang gilers i type kena telan plak..hehe..pat spellg erors biasalah babe..ahaks dude selalu shakes his head tak leh angsss..i lagi at the hdptl baru rtn back after run errands and isi perut my no. still lom naik2 lg. haizzz..my gynae ni lembab tahap siput..sbb member old timer dah nak retire agaknya. nanti i interogate dia jap ni..

    :) MMMM moga semua dimudahkan buat kak yer...haiiish....ayu gak xcited nih!! Baru perasan minggu ni minggu akak merotiii je...ranjin betul...ayu wat jugak..ttp selalu tak sempat masuk sutdio...masuk mulooot je laju....

    Owh...my great achievement so far...since started work..I always tapau bfast n lunch....they said...'pandai nye berjimat' ahaks...hahahhahaha....I know u know y kan.....mmm glad I boleh jaga makan I so far....no more tea lady...I made all myself...:)
