Fantastic Friday is here.....there's weekend to look forward to.. :)
Always a dragggg when u r bogged down with chores and surrounded by MFs @ the office..and that much awaited weekend always seem to pass quickly when u r having fun @ home doing the stuff you love...3 weeks of January has passed in blink of an eye.... sometimes ur thots are just muddled and little things just get to u...sigh!!
anyways, dapat jugak the missing chicken dish pic that I cooked the other time together with the tauhu kukus..
so better I post it now.......
here's wishing everyone a great weekend again...ohhhh i need a cheerer-upper sooon!!!!!!!!!!!!!bleahhhhh..
Ingredients:-
1 ekor ayam(potong ikut suka)
2 batang serai-diketuk
1 sudu besar cili kisar atau 4 biji cili hidup kisar bersama bawang
1-2 sudu besar kunyit serbuk
2 keping kecil asam gelugur
kentang (optional)
garam, perasa & gula secukupnya
air secukupnya
minyak masak
*2 biji bawang merah
*3 ulas bawang putih
*1 biji bawang besar
*2 potong halia sebesar ibu jari
(*bahan2 kisar)
Method:-
Ayam yang telah dipotong, buang kulit dan dicuci, gaul dengan sedikit kunyit dan garam. Ketepikan. Panaskan minyak masak, tumis serai sehingga naik bau. Kemudian tumiskan bahan kisar* sehingga keluar minyak. Masukkan cili kisar atau hidup, gaul rata. Masukkan ayam dan gaul lagi. Kemudian masukkan air ikut suka, jika ingin masakkan ini berkuah banyak atau sederhana terpulang banyak airnya, yang penting ayam masak dan kuah keluar minyak. Jangan lupa masukkan asam dan bahan perasa. Anak2 pasti suka sebab masakan ayam kunyit tak pedas. Kalau tambah ubi kentang pun boleh, masukkan kentang bila ayam separuh masak. Sedap dimakan bersama sambal belacan .
